Wabi Sabi + Brighter Shade (Late Show)

Sunday, November 14, 2021 @ 9:00PMSun, Nov 14, 2021 @ 9:00PM

10 High Club, 816 North Highland Avenue Northeast, Atlanta, GA 30306

Door open at 4 PM Brighter Shade is the 90s soundtrack for life that you might not have heard yet. Featuring the baritone growl and songs of Zac Brown Band’s own John Driskell Hopkins, Brighter Shade is an aggressive singer/songwriter collective that can best be described as “Arena Folk”. Massive vocal harmonies, intricate rhythms and triumphant power chords make Brighter Shade an exciting experience that has something for everyone. Wabi Sabi started off in 1999 under the name Damian Cartier (And His My Newt Orchestra). An 8 piece band, complete with horn section born right here in Atlanta, GA, Wabi Sabi plays a mix of funk, reggae, latin, rock, swing, and pretty much any type of music they can get their hands on. They have released 3 albums, “Attention Damian Disorder” in 2002, “Plays Well With Others” in 2007, and their double live CD  “Alive and Orjazmic Up In The Tin Roof” in 2014.

Both bands cut their teeth playing at The 10 High (Darkhorse) back in the day.
